Tiffany Huff of Tennessee was named to the second team All-American by the Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

The junior first baseman had career highs in batting average (.399 on 63-of-158), runs scored (48), hits (63), home runs (eight), RBIs (67), total bases (102), slugging (.646) and on-base percentage (.522) and stolen bases (11), while adding 13 doubles, a triple and 43 walks.

"Tiffany Huff epitomizes the term All-American,” Lady Vols co-head coach Ralph Weekly said. “She is a leader on and off the field and is a clutch player who is a joy to coach."

Huff is the 16th All-American selection at UT, all coming since 2004: Monica Abbott (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007), Tonya Callahan (2006, 2007, 2008), Kristi Durant (2005, 2006), Sarah Fekete (2005, 2006), Lindsay Schutzler (2005, 2006, 2007) and India Chiles (2007).

"Tiffany dedicated herself to working harder this past fall than ever before,” Lady Vols co-head coach Karen Weekly said. “This award is a testament to her commitment to be the best player she can be. I'm very proud of her accomplishment."
