When Lane Kiffin arrived as the University of Tennessee's football coach, he had a list of priorities.
Among other things, he wanted to energize the Vols fan base, get under the collective skin of rival coaches and recruit UT's next great quarterback — not necessarily in that order.
So far, he's swung and missed at only one of those top priorities. He has yet to land a top-tier quarterback for the recruiting Class of 2010.
And if Kiffin is going to keep the fan base energized and continue to rankle rival coaches, he needs to upgrade the quarterback position.
